Instead of using your phone as a hotspot in your car, you will soon be able to just start your car and gain access to the internet. This sounds too good to be true, but AT&T will make it happen for you with ZTE Mobley, their new launch that plugs into your car’s OBD-II port. It’s as simple as 1-2-3 – the hotspot goes live as soon as the car is started and an LTE data link can be shared with everyone inside. It’s cheap enough for you to really consider trying it out, as it will be available for ‘free’ with a 2-year contract, or 100$ without one. You will spend more money on data, as it will cost you $20 and upwards for stand-alone service or just $10 if you add your device to a shared plan.
